5-Inch Soft Sponge Interface Pad – Backing Pad for Sanding Discs on Uneven Surfaces
Get an even scratch pattern on curved panels, body lines, and contoured surfaces that a hard backing pad can't follow. This 5-inch soft sponge interface pad sits between your sander and hook-and-loop sanding discs, cushioning the disc so it flexes into curves instead of digging in at the edges.
Why You'll Love It:
- Soft sponge cushion flexes into curves and body lines
- 8-hole design matches standard dust extraction sanders
- Compatible with standard hook-and-loop sanding discs
- Reduces swirl marks and uneven sanding on contoured panels
- A simple add-on that improves results on any random orbital sander
An inexpensive upgrade that helps your sanding discs do a better job on anything that isn't perfectly flat.
